There is! And the connection is fascinating.
Hathor is one of the oldest Egyptian deities and has links to the ancient Egyptian cow goddess, Bat or Bata. Her most common depiction is that of a cow headed goddess with horns in which is set the sun disk. She embodies motherhood and love, and is the feminine deity of pleasure, dance, fertility, childbirth, and the arts.
In her celestial aspect Hathor personifies the Milky Way. During the spring and fall equinoxes in the third millennium BCE, the Milky Way aligned over and touched the earth where the sun rose and fell. Thus the four legs of the cow goddess, Hathor, sometimes called Nut, were perceived as the four pillars that held up the heavens. The stars appeared on the belly of this celestial cow goddess.
interdimensional beings who come in love to help humans on earth bring about a new reality of love and compassion. They claim to come from another universe by way of Sirius which is a portal to our universe. From Sirius they eventually came to our solar system and the etheric realm of Venus. They claimed to have worked with and through the Hathor fertility goddess of ancient Egypt.
Whether you buy into all of this or not, I simply find these connections interesting! I choose to keep an open mind, and encourage you to do so as you read the rest of this article.

Think about it! What would it be like to live in a world filled with love, compassion, and non-judgement? We would be joyful! We would be free to enjoy the pleasures of our world. We would be free from bigotry, misogyny, racism, greed, and the need to dominate and fight wars.
Sounds pie in the sky, right? But only because currently there is so much judgment! And think about the separation and conflict judgment brings!
Take Trump, for example. Some spiritual teachers say Trump is the voice of America’s shadow. He’s the bigoted, racist, and misogynistic voice of our country that was buried under political correctness. We can pass laws and set ethical standards, but unless people hold the principles of love and non-judgment in their hearts, these low vibrations will fester until they eventually comes out. Trump is their voice.
First we must become aware at the collective level of the separation, fear, and damage these shadow beliefs and feelings cause. Then we can choose to transform and/or release them once and for all from our collective hearts.
Why? If he retorted with anger claiming Trump was horrible and despicable, he would be joining Trump’s camp. He would be spreading the judgment, meanness, and hatred forward.
We can’t conquer all that’s wrong in our country with the same measures that have created so much separation, mistrust, fear, and meanness. Instead we have to do things differently!
The Hathors that I know are about love, compassion, and non-judgment. And whether you choose to believe in the Hathors or not, I think we can all agree that it is by raising ourselves to the vibration of love and compassion that we will bring about change – not by stooping to bigotry, hatred, and anger.
If you are disturbed by Trump and what he stands for, then take action to bring more love and compassion to your community.
Volunteer or contribute money for a cause you believe in. Learn about Islam and begin a dialog with some Muslims in your community. Smile at someone who is disabled or homeless rather than pretending they don’t exist. Spread love and compassion so that the love vibrations become so powerful that they overwhelm and dissolve the lower vibrations of fear, hatred, separation, anger, and mistrust.
Love is the way to bring about change.
